Email notification settings
EDIT: Google has stopped supporting 3rd party notifications as of June 1, 2022, so we recommend choosing another provider (we do not recommend list.cz), ideally your own email solution.
Setting values to the device
We recommend using the email address provided by Gmail. Others may block machine communication.
- User SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
- Sender: enter the mailbox email address
- Sender address: address from which emails will be sent
- Port: 465
- File attachment: the email will include a photo taken at the time of the event
- Subject: the subject of the alarm email
- Message Interval (Min): the interval at which messages will be allowed to go out
- Encryption: SSL
- Username: to log in to the mailbox (usually the same as the sender's email)
- Password: for the mailbox
- Reply: once again, the password for the mailbox
- Select Recipient: you can select up to 3 different email recipients
- Recipient address: the address to which the notification will be sent
- Test: button to test the configuration
- Time slots: specify when emails can arrive
- Disable automatic email: the system can send a regular email to check the functionality of the communication at a set interval.
Received email
The email that the system generates contains the exact timing of the event and, if applicable, an attached picture of the event that caused the alarm.
