How to add a PATRONUM IP camera to Synlogy Surveillance Station

Adding a PARTONUM IP camera to the Synlogy Surveillance Station is a choice of two integration options with the following conditions:

• h.264 camera compression mode (h.265 can also be used, but this requires additional Synology software and licenses and will limit Synology's detection capabilities)

via Onvif:

Configuration can be done via the generic Onvif protocol. In this case, video and audio will be transmitted to the SSS. The detection functions are provided by Synology.

• Camera Address: the IP address of the IP camera on the LAN
• Port: http port of the camera
• Brand: ONVIF
• Model: Streaming only
• User name: user on camera (default admin)
• Password: password of the user in the camera (default admin)

via RTSP:

Configuration can be done via the generic RTSP protocol. In this case, video and audio will be transmitted to the SSS. Detection functions are provided by Synology.
