FAQ

How to ask technical support

Although it may not be immediately apparent at first glance, the correct wording of technical support queries plays a key role. Often we come across queries that are so vague that even the most experienced expert cannot understand what is going on. For this reason, we decided to create this article to standardize the rules and procedures for communicating with support.

What to do when there are problems

It may happen that a component or the whole system exhibits non-standard behaviour. For these cases we have prepared an article on how to handle these situations.

I forgot my device password

Sometimes things just go wrong and you forget your password, or you just set it wrong. Don't despair, we have a solution for that too

Camera system not working or partially working

Due to the complexity and intricacy of CCTV systems, you may find yourself in a situation where the CCTV system stops working completely or partially, especially with old CCTV systems. How to deal with such a situation can be found below.

The camera image is only available during the day

The security cameras are equipped with an infrared illuminator that is automatically triggered at dusk or when the ambient light level drops below 10LUX. The illuminator requires on average 10 times more power than the camera itself during the day. These increased demands can cause the system voltage to drop and the camera to shut down overnight.

Damage to the system by overvoltage or induction

Overvoltage and induction are two terms you may encounter when operating a camera system. They are most commonly associated with power outages, thunderstorms and other atmospheric effects that can occur when a CCTV system is alive.
