Thanks to the 4 pairs of wires it is possible to lead video signals from 4 cameras simultaneously or to lead the video signal and power the camera at the same time (it is important to calculate the attenuation according to the power input of the camera and the length of the cable).

The transmission distance for IP is 100m and for AHD video signal can be up to 1200m, depending on the type of converter used.
