Setting up and controlling the camera system

Check out the basic tips from our professionals on how to optimally set up your PATRONUM camera system.
How do I set up motion detection and AI events
Motion detection is an advanced video analytics feature that all PATRONUM camera systems have. In this article we describe its operation and configuration options.

Setting up PUSH notifications to your mobile phone - BitVision
Your PATRONUM device can send a PUSH notification in case of motion detection or another alarm event.
WIFI IP camera configuration
If you are using an IP WIFI camera as a solitary system, the following procedure must be followed when assigning it to a WIFI network, provided that the camera is properly powered and switched on.
Email notification settings
PATRONUM IP cameras and recorders allow sending event alerts via email. If, for example, a technical failure occurs or motion is detected in the monitored area, you can have an informative email sent to you.
Control of MOTORZOOM security cameras
If you have purchased a PATRONUM brand security camera and connected it to a recorder of the same brand, you can control the change of focus (ZOOM) of the lens and the movement of the camera, if it allows (PTZ), via the PTZ menu in the recorder menu. Focusing is usually automatic, but you can still control it through the recorder if necessary.
Google Drive storage settings
The PATRONUM recording devices and IP cameras allow you to upload images during an alarm event (motion detection) to Google Drive in the maximum resolution of the 3rd stream. It is therefore possible for the device to send the image to a remote storage, which can be an advantage in the event of an attack on the guarded object and destruction / theft of the device.
Settings for saving to FTP server
PATRONUM recording devices and IP cameras allow sending images during an alarm event (motion detection) to an FTP server. It is therefore possible for the device to send the image to the server, which can be an advantage in case of an attack on the guarded object and destruction / theft of the device.
