To function, the device must be connected to the LAN (Internet) and have free space on the FTP server and enabled to save the recording when motion is detected.
- log into the configuration interface and navigate to the appropriate FTP settings
- check "Enable FTP" for saving to the server
- FTP server - fill in the IP address of your FTP server
- Port - fill in the port of your FTP server (usually 21)
- User name and password - fill in the FTP server access
- Upload File - the folder on the FTP server where the photos will be saved
- Channel - select the channels you want to upload to the FTP server
- Week and time periods - set when to send images to the FTP
The TEST button will test the connection to the FTP server. A text file with confirmation of the successful test is saved to the FTP folder.
